Thought bubbles for Nestle

I enjoyed making a bunch of simple little thought bubbles with lettering for Nestle. They were overlaid on training videos showing best practice and worst practice for managers.

I’m back baby

I’m back baby, I’m back. I was so excited to be back on Instagram after a long period without it that I made a little bit of handdrawn type. My old phone was too decrepit to run any apps, now I am the proud possessor of a shiny new piece of modernity. Suddenly realised after I wrote this where the quote was from… George Costanza! Not the perfect role model.

Illo advent

I joined in with Illo Advent on Twitter this year – a quick sketch or illustration each day of advent, like a digital advent calendar. I got a bit busy with work as Christmas drew near so I stopped before the big day. I was surprised how much of a mixed bag I made – sketches, ink drawings, cut paper 3d  pieces. Here are a few of them.

The US election

Well it was a little while ago now, but the US election result had many illustrators responding in ink in the immediate aftermath. I just found out that my image was number 17 on The Telegraph’s list of the best cartoons reacting to the news of Donald Trump’s win.

Live drawing – Portraits for the Art Rookie networking event at Lights of Soho

I had a great night live drawing portraits at Lights of Soho for Art Rookie.

To reflect the super cool neon lights that make this venue so unique, I worked in neon colour (pink, yellow or blue) and white on black paper.
